Several weeks went past and the next time Wendi came over she seemed different. She had a resolute look on her face and seemed more friendly than ever. Smoky was outside sculpting when she arrived and he continued for a short time before he joined her inside.

Episode 2 - Smoky Lonesome may not be so lonesome anymore!

One afternoon when Smoky was immersed in his sculpting, he totally forgot the time. The only hint that time had passed was the setting sun in the distance over the horizon. Smoky stopped and looked into the blood red sky thinking perhaps he'd better eat something. It was then he felt a presence behind him. Looking around a girl stood by watching him work.

A delicate mist shrouded and drifted across a sleepy corner of Banyen Bend. Movement could be seen in a ramshackle cabin on the banks of a lazy river that meandered amongst trees and swampland.

Smoky Lonesome had been to many places and had many odd jobs in his life...too many! He was thoroughly tired of being on the road. So when he came across Banyan Bend and saw this abandoned cabin at the edge of a swamp, he knew it was time to settle down. He had one or two goals he was determined to fulfill and this peaceful place was an ideal location.
Smoky was always the happiest when hunting for scrap, fishing and trying to invent new and interesting things. He was creative and keen to try his hand at sculpture and painting also and set himself up for these endeavours.
